BEKASI, NETRALNEWS.COM – Grand Galaxy Park again presents the annual event awaited by Indonesian women with hijab – Miss Hijab Glam 2017. The event was successful in 2016 with more than 200 hijabers sending photos to participate in Miss Hijab Glam.
Communications & Digital Media Manager at Grand Galaxy Park Mall Dwana Anggana said that participants (hijabers) who want to join this activity are not subject to registration fee and only follow the requirements set by Grand Galaxy Park.
“Participants just send photos on Instagram with hashtag #misshijabglam2017,” said Dwana.
Dwana added that after the participants submitted the photo then the best 20 hijabers will follow the semifinals on May 7, 2017 with assessments including personality, public speaking, catwalk as well as general and religion knowledge.
“Currently [we] have selected 10 best finalists who will compete in the Grand Final on May 14, 2017,” added Dwana.
In fact, Dwana added, the 10 best finalists will be judged directly by judges such as Terry Putri, Intan Erlita, Sitti Ashari (2016 Miss Muslimah Indonesia) and Arafah (Stand Up Comedy) who will assess the talent of participants as well as Open Mic.
