Muscat – alizz islamic bank, Oman’s full-fledged Sharia-compliant bank has opened a new branch in Sohar to reach out to more clients.
The 551 square metres` property was inaugurated on December 25 at a prominent location at the heart of Sohar, facing the main road. The bank also plans to open a new location in Salalah soon.
The official opening of the new branch took place under the auspices of Sheikh Muhana bin Saif Al Lamki, governor of Al Batinah North, in the presence of Kadhim Abdullah Al Ajmi, member of Majlis Al Shura, and Salaam Al Shaksy, chief executive officer of alizz islamic bank, and a number of other officials.
“We’re excited to grow our presence in the Batinah region. This city has experienced a solid population increase and businesses are also continuing to open their doors and flourish,” Moosa Al Jadidi, head of retail banking commented.
