Mindanao, PHILIPPINES, 8th May 2015 – Zilzar Tech Sdn Bhd (ZILZAR) and Anak Mindanao (AMIN) Party List Rep Hon.Siiti Djalia Turabin-Hataman) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for ‘Made In Mindanao’ brand Powered by Zilzar. The signing was facilitated by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF).
The MoU covers joint collaboration between two parties to build and expand the ‘Made in Mindanao’ brand to create jobs, boost exports and draw tourism into Mindanao via the Zilzar platform.
Zilzar is an e-commerce Muslim Lifestyle Marketplace, bringing together products, services and information on the world’s largest Online Halal platform.
ZILZAR is a global e-commerce platform for the $2.5 Trillion Muslim Lifestyle Marketplace consisting of eight sectors: Halal Food/Beverage, Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical, Travel, Fashion, Islamic Finance, Media/Recreation, and Logistics. At the signing of the MOU, AMIN Party list was represented by The Honourable Sitti Djalia Turabin Hataman while ZILZAR was represented by Co-Founder and CEO, Mr. Rushdi Siddiqui.
Hon Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman said the signing of the MoU with ZILZAR, was a milestone to strengthen their working alliance and generate sustainable economic values for the state and region. “It is our hope that the partnership will meet the needs of our local sellers and provide opportunities for them to market their product globally in line with AMIN’s advocacy to promote and develop the Mindanao made products for the utmost benefit of the Bangsamoro communities and the Philippines in general.
