Burger Hub Offers Tasty Halal Burgers at Greenfield Strip Mall

Burger Hub Offers Tasty Halal Burgers at Greenfield Strip Mall
2024-05-11 by Aamer Yaqub

If you’re on the hunt for an exceptional burger in Milwaukee, you’re in luck. The area is brimming with options, from classic handcrafted burgers to inventive offerings piled high with unique toppings. Whether it’s the ever-popular smash patties, gourmet variations, or an impressive selection of vegetarian and vegan options, finding your perfect burger in Milwaukee isn’t a challenge. Among these delightful options, Burger Hub serves up delicious halal burgers in a Greenfield strip mall, standing out as a unique and appealing choice for food enthusiasts.

However, the real challenge lies in choosing where to satisfy your burger cravings. This decision has only become tougher with the arrival of Burger Hub. Situated in a suburban strip mall on the former site of a George Webb restaurant, which many might recall from a visit back in 2016, Burger Hub opened its doors last September and has since been gaining traction.

Despite its somewhat hidden location in Greenfield and minimal press coverage initially, Burger Hub has quickly caught the attention of locals, thanks to enthusiastic word-of-mouth recommendations and an intriguing online presence. After finally deciding to visit, it’s clear why this spot is creating buzz.

Burger Hub specializes in, you guessed it, burgers. But not just any burgers—each meat patty is 100% halal, adhering to Islamic dietary laws, which is a rarity among burger-centric eateries. While halal meat is common in Middle Eastern restaurants across Milwaukee’s south side and neighboring areas like Oak Creek and Greenfield, Burger Hub’s dedication to halal across its entire menu sets it apart.

Aside from burgers, the menu features chicken sandwiches, cheesesteaks, both boneless and bone-in wings, chicken tenders, and an array of deep-fried sides like cheese curds, mozzarella sticks, and jalapeno poppers. There’s something comforting about the diner-style setting with swiveling stools and cozy booths, a nod to the building’s past life as a 24-hour diner.

During a recent visit, we tried the Hub Deluxe—a well-rounded choice for those wanting something between a straightforward burger and one with a kick, priced at $9.99 for the burger or $13.99 for a combo. Opting for the combo, we enjoyed a can of soda alongside fresh, halal beef that sizzled from the flat top, served with a generous portion of seasoned fries.

The first bite was a revelation. The quality of the ingredients shone through, from the crisp lettuce and fresh tomato to the creamy avocado spread and perfectly toasted bun. The turkey bacon was a standout, adding a smoky depth to the burger. The halal beef was not only lean but richly flavored and juicy.

Burger Hub may be a newcomer, but it’s already positioning itself as a top contender in Milwaukee’s competitive burger scene. With its commitment to high-quality, halal ingredients and stellar service, Burger Hub serves up delicious halal burgers in a Greenfield strip mall, catering to a diverse crowd. This includes those who often struggle to find fast-casual halal options, making it a significant addition to the local culinary landscape

So, why are you still reading? Head to Burger Hub in Greenfield and see for yourself why it’s quickly becoming a must-visit for burger enthusiasts.
