HALAL CONTROL Supports Sarajevo Halal Congress 2023

In a remarkable show of unity and collaboration, the international Halal community recently came together in Sarajevo for the Congress of HalalQuality. This prominent event took place on the 18th and 19th of May and was organized by the Bosnian Agency of HalalQuality. HALAL CONTROL (HC), a player in the halal sector, is proud to have been a key part of this significant international gathering.

The Congress brought together an impressive roster of speakers from a wide range of backgrounds and sectors. Academia, compliance, industry, government, and Islamic jurisprudence were all well represented, creating a rich tapestry of perspectives and insights. The discussions were insightful and invigorating, driving home the importance of Halal quality and integrity across all sectors.

The Congress ended on a high note on the 19th of May, leaving a profound impact on the Halal sectors represented there. A comprehensive 20-point resolution was passed, providing a clear path forward for the Halal community. HC is especially pleased to announce that five of its proposed points, centered around halal integrity, were accepted and included in this resolution. This acceptance underscores the valuable contributions of HC to the global Halal discourse.

Looking ahead, the Halal community has much to anticipate as plans for the next edition of the Halal Congress in 2024 are already underway. This further highlights the event’s success and the desire to continue these fruitful discussions on an international scale.

HC would like to extend its heartfelt congratulations to the Agency for Halal Quality Certification of Bosnia, the University of Tuzla and its Faculty of Technology, the University of Sarajevo and its Faculty of Islamic Studies, and the OIC/SMIIC. The collective efforts of these esteemed organizations and the contributions of national and international experts played an integral role in making this event the success that it was.
