Jordan and Palestine have resumed tourism cooperation after a two-year disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Jordanian Ambassador to Palestine Issam Budour.

The pandemic had a significant impact on Jordanian-Palestinian tourism plans, but Budour emphasized the importance of cooperation and coordination to move forward in joint planning with the theme of “Tourism Brings us Together.”

The two countries are also planning to sign a tourism cooperation agreement for the next three years. Palestinian Minister of Tourism Rula Maayah stated that the Palestinian tourism sector was hit hard by the pandemic, but she believes it will recover soon.
