Hub71 and Wio Bank Partner to Boost Abu Dhabi’s Tech Startup Banking

ABU DHABI, UAE – In a groundbreaking alliance, Abu Dhabi’s dynamic tech incubator, Hub71, and Wio Bank PJSC, the UAE’s pioneering platform bank, are joining forces. Their collective objective? To reimagine the banking experience for the city’s entrepreneurial community.

The strategic collaboration will augment the bank account processes for SMEs, with Wio stepping up as Hub71’s official banking partner. Startup founders stand to gain from expert mentorship and a plethora of commercialization opportunities, thus catalyzing the development of innovative new products and services in Abu Dhabi.

This initiative streamlines the banking process, facilitating more accessible access to funding and vital banking products. The beneficiaries? Early-stage tech startups are the lifeline of Abu Dhabi’s innovative landscape.

Founded with a central mission to bolster the future readiness of the UAE’s SME sector, Wio Bank will simplify the bank account opening process for startups joining Hub71. Furthermore, the digital bank pledges to partake in Hub71 events and initiatives that align with its growth trajectory.

Expressing his exhilaration over the partnership, Jamal Al Awadhi, Wio’s Chief Operating and Experience Officer, stated, “We’re embarking on a shared mission to boost startups in the region.
