Shah’s Halal Food Secures Official Partnership with MetLife Stadium

Shah’s Halal Food Secures Official Partnership with MetLife Stadium
2025-09-17 by Laiba Adnan

Shah’s Halal Food has officially partnered with MetLife Stadium, home of the New York Giants and New York Jets, marking a major step forward for the fast-growing halal food brand. This collaboration introduces authentic halal cuisine to one of the most iconic sports and entertainment venues in the United States, enhancing the dining options available for thousands of fans.

The announcement was made in September 2025, and it reflects both Shah’s Halal’s rapid expansion across the U.S. and MetLife Stadium’s effort to diversify and improve its food offerings. For many fans, especially those seeking halal options, this is a landmark moment that combines cultural inclusivity with game-day excitement.

Expanding Halal Options for Fans

As part of the deal, Shah’s Halal will open three food stands inside the stadium. One will be located in the West Hall inside the MetLife Gate, while the other two will operate at concourses near Sections 126 and 314. These outlets will offer the brand’s signature halal platters and gyros, featuring chicken, lamb, and falafel, along with pakora chips and its well-known sauces. The menu has been carefully designed to stay true to Shah’s authentic flavors while adapting to the fast-paced demands of a sports arena.

Why the Partnership Matters

This collaboration is significant not only because it enhances the fan experience but also because it brings halal cuisine into the mainstream of American sports venues. For MetLife Stadium, the partnership shows a strong commitment to inclusivity by catering to its diverse fan base. For Shah’s Halal, it provides an opportunity to showcase its brand on one of the biggest stages in American sports and entertainment.

Shah’s Halal started as a small food cart in Queens, New York, in 2005 and has since expanded into a network of over 170 locations across the U.S., Canada, and beyond. Its success is rooted in maintaining authentic halal standards, ensuring quality, and serving food that appeals to both halal and non-halal consumers.

Perspectives from Leadership

MetLife Stadium’s leadership emphasized that the addition of Shah’s Halal reflects their ongoing mission to enhance the fan experience with more variety and cultural representation in dining options. Shah’s Halal’s management expressed pride in bringing their authentic halal cuisine to such a prestigious venue, promising to maintain the high quality and flavor that has defined their brand.

With this partnership, fans can expect more variety, shorter wait times due to multiple stand locations, and convenient access to halal meals during games and events. As the new NFL season begins, the partnership is also expected to set an example for other stadiums and entertainment venues across the U.S. that are exploring ways to expand food diversity and meet growing demand for halal options.
