Professor Dr. Mohamad Mohamad Akram Laldin, a world-renown scholar in the field of Islamic banking & finance discusses these and many other important issues with The Halal Times. Prof. Laldin is currently working as the Executive Director of International Shari’ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA) and Professor at International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF).

Before joining ISRA, he was an Assistant Professor at the Kulliyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, International Islamic University, Malaysia (IIUM). He is a prolific writer and has authored a large number of books and research papers throughout his career.
